We protect the health and safety of our employees, contractors, our customers
All our staff have been trained and WTC Certified which includes First Aid, working around live services, and have completed relevant unit standards in the tasks they perform (ie Level 3 Certification in Directional Drilling, tracking, L3 Water reticulation,).
On Target utilises Safe 365 Safety Management System for recording all data. Our internal SMS has recently been audited by ISNetworld and we are currently operating with a green conformance level for their client Northpower.
Protecting the health and safety of our employees, contractors, our customers, is a core value within On Target Drilling Ltd. We will not be satisfied until our workplaces are safe from hazards, our employees are injury free, our services, equipment and tools are safe, and our commitment and record in regulatory compliance are unmatched.
On Target Drilling Ltd will not allow any Worker to report for work in such a condition that the Worker is unable to perform his/her duties properly and safely. An individual who attempts to function while under the influence of drugs or alcohol risks their own safety and the safety of others.
To ensure the work environment is safe and healthy On Target Drilling will carry out drug and alcohol testing in the following situations:

At random if the employee works in a safety-sensitive area or
2
After an incident or near miss in which someone was or could have been injured.
3.
If the employer believes a reasonable cause exists, eg if an employee’s actions, appearance or behavior suggest they may be under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
